Reward vote
How miners choose the next season's reward token from a checked shortlist.
Miners choose each season's reward token from a shortlist of three tokens that pass the safety checks. Season 1 has no earlier vote, so its token is set by the admin.
Timeline
- The admin sets a USD budget for the next season before choosing candidates.
- Two days before a season closes, the shortlist is published.
- Miners vote for 24 hours with a signed message. Signing costs no gas.
- The token with the most voting power wins. Ties go to the token with higher verified liquidity.
- Before the next season starts, its token, verified address, pool, rate and funding plan are published. The season cannot start until this is done.
- The treasury buys the pool only after the winner is public, and every purchase transaction is published.
Voting power
Voting power is your accepted ORE in the current season at the moment voting opens, from days that have already closed. One vote per wallet. Flagged wallets cannot vote.
If the vote fails
If nobody votes, or the winner stops passing the checks, the admin selects from the remaining shortlist and records the reason in the audit log.
Safety checks
- Verified contract on Robinhood Chain Mainnet
- Standard ERC-20 behavior
- No transfer tax or sell restriction in a simulated transfer
- Not rebasing or fee-on-transfer
- Minimum liquidity, minimum token age and maximum top-holder concentration
Who approved each token is recorded. Tokens in which the operator holds an undisclosed position are not used. The project's own official token can appear only with a clear conflict-of-interest notice.
A shortlist is not an endorsement. Names and tickers can be copied: always check the verified address.
