Mining
Manage workers
Start, stop, update and check your rigs with the ore command.
Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
ore start --wallet 0x… --worker rig01 --device 0 | Pairs the machine the first time, runs the GPU self-test, then mines in the background |
ore stop | Stops mining |
ore status | Shows the worker, process state and the coordinator's view |
ore logs -f | Follows the worker log |
ore selftest | Checks this GPU against the CPU reference without contacting anyone |
ore doctor | Checks driver, runtime, disk, connectivity and clock |
ore update | Installs the latest signed release |
ore version | Prints the version |
Add --foreground to ore start to run in the current terminal.
Several GPUs
Run one worker per GPU, each with its own rig name and --device index. A wallet can have up to 10 workers.
Terminal
$ ore start --wallet 0xYOUR_PUBLIC_ADDRESS --worker rig01 --device 0
What the terminal shows
The worker prints only measured facts: jobs received, proofs accepted, GPU time and errors. It never prints earning estimates.
Remove a worker
Choose Remove on the worker's card. Its token is revoked at once and the machine stops mining. Accepted history stays.
Reconnects
If the coordinator or network is unavailable, the worker waits and retries with backoff. Nothing is credited unless the verifier accepts a proof.
