Each machine runs its own GPU self-test before it mines. One passing machine does not validate a whole GPU family. The Status page lists the hardware that has passed so far, as reported by workers.
System
- Linux x86-64 (Ubuntu 22.04 or newer works well)
- NVIDIA driver 570 or newer
- Python 3.12 or newer with venv, or Docker with the NVIDIA Container Toolkit
- 8 GB of GPU memory or more, 2 GB of free disk
- Outbound HTTPS
Not supported
H100 and H200 data center GPUs are not supported in this release. Windows and macOS are not supported; on Windows you can use a Linux virtual machine with GPU passthrough at your own risk.
