Data and trust
What is verified, what you have to trust, and what we store.
What is verified
- Every accepted proof is checked by the native verifier for its exact job and wallet.
- Daily ORE mints on testnet are capped by the distributor contract.
- Each claim needs a voucher signed by the vault's signer key, is never paid twice, and total payouts per UTC day are capped by the vault contract.
What you have to trust
- The operator runs the coordinator, verifier and settlement worker, reviews abuse flags, and signs claim vouchers from the reward ledger.
- The contracts do not re-run the proof computation on chain.
- Market facts for reward tokens (liquidity, age, holders) are entered by an admin from public sources, and who entered them is recorded.
- The contracts have not been audited. An external audit is recommended before the vault holds real funds.
What a proof does not prove
An accepted proof does not attest a specific physical GPU. GPU names on the site are reported by workers.
What we store
- Wallet addresses, workers, jobs, accepted proofs and season accounting.
- Network addresses only as keyed hashes, for abuse checks and rate limits.
- For the AI service: billing metadata only (model, token counts, cost). Prompts and responses are not stored on our servers.
Non-affiliation
Ore Compute is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Robinhood, NVIDIA, OpenRouter, Pearl Research Labs, any reward token project, or any model publisher. Names identify their owners. Listing or selecting a token is not an endorsement.
Risk
Mining costs such as electricity or GPU rental are your responsibility. Your rewards depend on your share of the season's mining, reward tokens are volatile and can lose their value, and earnings are not guaranteed. ORE has no market value and cannot be transferred.
