What Ore Compute collects, and why.

Last updated November 7, 2026

This policy explains what Ore Compute collects and why.

What we collect

  • Wallet addresses you sign in with, and their sessions.
  • Mining data: workers, GPU details reported by the worker, jobs, accepted proofs, season accounting and claims.
  • Network addresses, stored only as keyed hashes, used for rate limits and abuse checks.
  • AI billing data: model, token counts, cost and time of each request.
  • Payments: transaction hashes and amounts for credit purchases.

What we do not collect

  • Prompts and responses sent through the Playground or API are not stored on our servers.
  • We do not use advertising trackers.

Public data

Accepted proofs, receipts, leaderboards, reward roots and claims are public. Blockchain transactions are public by nature.

Third parties

AI requests are sent to our model provider (OpenRouter) and the model's publisher under their own terms. Our hosting providers process data to run the service.

Browser storage

The site stores a session cookie when you sign in, an invite code cookie if you open an invite link, and, if you choose, Playground chats and preferences in your own browser. Clear them in Settings.

Retention

Mining and season records are kept as long as needed to run seasons and for audit. Sessions expire after seven days.

Your choices

You can stop using the service at any time. To ask about your data, contact us through the channels listed on the site.
